Matchy Matchy with LulaRoe!
We have all seen them- these adorably cute mother and child matching outfits, in my mind they are either way too ridiculous looking (ruffled pants and southern prints aren't my thing) or they are made for mother- daughter or father-son duos! Becoming a boy mom has definitely been an adjustment. Being a "girly-girl" has made it hard to agree with getting dirty, making car/airplane/monster truck sounds) and allowing Aydin to explore his wild side without losing my cool.
Now lets backtrack a little- we ALL have those friends... the ones who jump on the bandwagon of some "pyramid scheme" wether its selling you facial cream or the miracle cure to your postpartum body, we have all received the messages to "join their team" or buy this new product. And well you see I'm a sucker, I love to support other women in business, big or small, doesn't matter you got it I'm buying.
Insert the LulaRoe phenomenon, to be honest I missed this entire "thing". I remember hearing everyone talk about the brand and how this seller had the "unicorn" they were after (I mean this business has its own language!) a close friend of mine decided to join the salesforce that is LulaRoe so I thought- screw it lets give it a shot, $25 for a pair of leggings, BRING IT ON!
Thats when it happened, I slipped on my first pair of solid black leggings after repeatedly being warned of their addictive nature, and it happened.. the absolutely most comfortable pair of leggings I have ever owned were now on my body. When people refer to these clothes as butter, honey well butter this biscuit cuz they aint lying.
Insert a few months later and I had happily owned a handful of solid leggings from various "sales" my friend had hosted. I remember seeing other women at the park, or the mall in familiar prints and just smiling, its like a secret club of the sisterhood of the traveling LulaRoe pants. Its becomes entire topics of conversation, the person who started this brand had also undoubtedly created a fashion movement amongst moms.
It was a couple months after my first purchase that I discovered LulaRoe also makes leggings and clothing for toddlers and big kids! If you haven't figured it out yet- I feel clothing for kids can really push the gender boundaries. Most of the clothing at WCB is incredibly androgynous and we all know I love a good pair of pink pants on my dude. The joy my little one has when he realizes we have matching clothes is AMAZING and worth every bit of ridiculousness that I may feel, wearing "loud" prints.
I mean look at these cute pants!
So mamas get your boy(s) and you some matching leggings, I promise it won't disappoint!
I have had two friends join the LulaRoe "movement" you can shop their collections here
