Lolla Lolla Lollapalooza & Introducing Kidsapalooza too!
Lolla isn't just for the "grown ups" anymore! We spent three days of pure Magic at Lollapalooza in Chicago's Grant Park and we are highlighting all the reasons why you should take your kids to the coolest festival around.
#1 Kids under 10 are FREE
Limited to 2 kids per ticketed Adult, its all the more reason to grab the kids, grab your gear and get to jammin
#2 There is an entire area dedicate to just kids. Kidzapalooza is jam packed with its own programming, with various artists and acts performing just for the kids, interactive experiences, photo booths, dj competitions and SO much more.
#3 The Food
"Chow Town" is a road of food, literally.
From popsicles to Graham Elliott's Lobster Corn Dog the food is unreal and is an experience all its own. Lets just say in 3 days we ate 6 Lobster Dogs and there was only 2 of us.
#4 Dont Fret
There are a TON of people. Mostly teen-age kids wandering around like cattle from artist to artist stage. But everyone was courteous and polite event with a buggy in tow. Navigating with a stroller was pretty easy!
There are stations at corners which sell everything from bottled water, bandaids, tums, and popsicles!
#5 The Swag
the shopping for Lolla gear is pretty legit. Nothing says cool kid more than your 4 year old wearing Lolla gear throughout the year. The kids selection is pretty vast!
We learned so much from Lollapalooza!
Dancing really is the best medicine.
Chicago has the best skyline.
Graham Elliot and his Lobster Corndog is what dreams are made of.
Deep Dish is still the best pizza.
And experiencing a festival like Lollapalooza with your children, is one we totally recommend.
